Stephen Glenn Martin, popularly known as Steve Martin, is a renowned comedian, producer, musician, composer, author and film and TV actor of United States of America. He was born on 14th August, 1945 in Texas, United States of America and started his illustrious career in 1956.
Early Career
Popular Hollywood actor Steve Martin started his career in 1956, appearing in “Disneyland Documentary”. His first significant role came in 1978 movie titled “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, followed by a role in “The Kids Are Alright”, released in 1979. His breakthrough performance came in 1981 movie titled “Pennies from Heaven”. The movie earned him critical acclaim for his role of Arthur and brought him into the limelight. In 1984, Steve Martin appeared in another successful role in the movie titled “All of Me”, followed by roles in several movies including “Movers & Shakers”, “Three Amigos” and “Little Shop of Horrors”. The role, which became his claim to fame, came in 1987 movie titled “Roxanne”. In 1990s, he appeared in “Father of the Bride”, playing the role of George Banks and reprised his role in “Father of the Bride Part II”, released in 1995.
