Jeffrey Warren Daniels, popularly known as Jeff Daniels, is a renowned American Actor, playwright and musician. He was born on 19th February, 1955 in Georgia, United States of America and started his career in 1981. He is known for his roles in movies like “The Purple Rose of Cairo”, “The Squid and the Whale”, “Terms of Endearment” and “Dumb and Dumber”.
Early Career
Hollywood actor Jeff Daniels started his acting career in 1981, appearing in the role of P.C. O’Donnell in the movie titled “Ragtime”. In 1983, he appeared in a breakthrough role in blockbuster movie titled “Terms of Endearment” and won critical acclaim and worldwide fame for his performance. Following the success of “Terms of Endearment”, he landed a role in Woody Allen’s Box office hit movie titled “Purple Rose of Cairo”. After two back to back, super hit movies to his credit, he was offered a number of leading roles in several movies including “Something Wild” in 1986, “Heartburn” in 1986, “Radio Days” in 1987, “Checking Out” in 1989 and “Love Hurts” in 1991. In 1994, he appeared alongside Jim Carrey in comedy thriller “Dumb and Dumber”, playing the role of Harry Dunne.
