Sharon Vonne Stone born on 10th March, 1958 in Pennsylvania, U.S, she is a former fashion model turned actress and film producer. She started her career as a model in 1977 but after 3 years in modeling she deciding to call it quits and took fancy to acting profession.

Stone’s debut film titled “Stardust Memories” was released in 1980, in which she had a brief role, followed by her appearance in a horror movie titled “Deadly Blessing” in 1981.
She got her next role in “Irreconcilable Differences” co-starring Shelley Long and child star Drew Barrymore. During the decade of 1980-90 she got roles in movies including “Above the Law”, “Allan Quatermain” and “the Lost City of Gold”, “Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol”, “King Solomon’s Mines” and “Action Jackson” and in between she also appeared on TV in “Bay City Blues” (1983), “Magnum”, “P.I” (1984) and some other.
Her career breakthrough came in 1990 when she got a role in “Total Recall” along with Arnold Schwarzenegger and then in “Basic Instinct” released in 1992, helped Sharon Stone in establishing her name among the top actresses.
In 1995, she earned her first ever Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nomination in the category for best actress for her excellent performance in Casino. In 1995, she appeared alongside Russell Crowe and young sensation Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Quick And The Dead” and achieved the award of Women in Film Crystal Award.
In 2003, she appeared in some episodes of TV drama “The Practice” and got Emmy Award in the category for outstanding guest actress. Her return to big screen came a cropper as her movies “Cold Creek Manor” and “Catwoman” proved to be flop.
