Faysal Qureshi is a typical Lahori, and was born on 26th October, 1973. He is the son of a great Pakistani film actress Afshan Qureshi. He started acting in 1984. Faysal Qureshi is one of the most versatile actors of Pakistan Television Industry. He started off his acting career as a child artist.
His very first play was on PTV, as a child star, in a drama serial Emergency ward. Faysal Qureshi’s acting in Bhabi Diyan Chooriyan is most memorable films, which he did as a child star. He also did a few movies but soon quit the film industry and entered the Television industry as a full time actor. He is one of the highest paid actors of Pakistan. He is also a producer, television host, director and writer.
The Pakistani actor Faysal Qureshi did and is still doing numerous dramas from various channels of Pakistan. Boota from Toba Tek Sing is one of his most famous dramas from which he gained wide popularity. Hosting is also a part of this versatile talent of Pakistan. He hosted the most famous Muskurati Morning – Morning show.
He has been host of the dance show Hero Bannay ki Tarang, to name a few. The Pakistani actor Faysal Qureshi has won numerous awards and has been nominated for several ones. Some of these awards are Lux Style Awards for Best Actor from 2003 to 2006, 2010 etc. to name a few.
Faysal hosted the show Salam Zindagi on ARY Zindagi from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, he turned producer with the production house Connect Studios. When once asked from Faysal Qureshi about what his dream is, he said, ‘I want to make my Country Proud’. And yes, he is doing it. He is indeed one of the versatile prides of Pakistan Television Industry.
