Tariq Aziz was born in the year 1936 on 28th April. He was born in the subcontinent in Jalandhar. Tariq Aziz received his early education from the city Sahiwal in Pakistan.
He was an avid learner with hopes to become famous and make it big in the media industry. He made a debut and stepped into the media career by getting on board with Radio Pakistan in Lahore.
Pakistan started its television telecast in 1964. Tariq Aziz was immediately selected due to his talent and skills to become he first ever male announcer for PTV. Tariq also was the first man to be seen on television which is an honor itself for the star.
Tariq Aziz gained fame immediately as soon as his face was shown on television. His radio program was also a major hit, and now, people recognized Tariq Aziz by his face too and not only through his voice.
Tariq Aziz without a doubt is a great speaker, along with his speaking skills, he also had polished his acting skills. Tariq starred in several dramas and films showing his talent to the world. Tariq Aziz starred with Zeba in the movie Insaniyat.
He also played a role in another famous Pakistani film, Haar gaya insaan. He was a Punjabi poet and a writer. His books include; Hamzad Da Dukh, Iqbal Shanasi, Hazar Dastan and Footpath sy Parliament tak.
Due to Tariq’s great speaking skills, he had been the anchor of several telethons for charity. He had also been the host of his personal show known more commonly as Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz.
Tariq also had interest in politics. He was the member of Mulim League (N) and was also a part of National Assembly. Pakistan lost this great talent on 17th June, 2020 in Lahore at the age of 84. He was awarded with Pride of Performance Award in 1992.
