Jose Enrique primarily plays as a left-back and stands at 1.84 meters (6 feet 0 inches) and wears the number 3 shirt for Newcastle. Enrique started his senior football career at Spanish football club Levante‘s B side.
Making 19 appearances for them before moving to Valencia in 2005-2006 Enrique failed to make a single appearance for Valencia and spent much of the year on loan at Celta Vigo before moving to Spanish and La Liga football club Villareal.
Where he stayed for 1 year and played 23 times before finally moving to English football club Newcastle United. He played a vital role in Newcastle’s promotion back into the Premier League after having an exceptional season in The Championship for them in the 2009-2010 season.
