Hadiqa Kiyani was born on 11th August, 1974. She is a very famous singer along with being a famous songwriter and a philanthropist. She has written number of songs for herself. Hadiqa Kiyani is one of the very versatile artists that Pakistan has.
She has sung songs in Pashto, Urdu and English languages. Raaz was Hadiqa’s debut album which was released in the year 1995. Soon after its release, Hadiqa became famous and also won an award. She has performed at Royal Albert Hall as well as The Kennedy Center.
Hadiqa Kiyani has done five albums till now, all of which have received the same fame as the first one. She won the hearts of thousands of people around the globe due to her melodious voice and great pop tracks. She has been awarded as one of the Best pop singers in Pakistan.
Her albums throughout the world have sold almost around 30 million copies. Hadiqa Kiyani also came on Television as a Judge for different singing competitions such as Pakistan Idol. One of such competitions was aired on Geo TV, one of the most famous Channels in Pakistan.
She was born in Rawalpindi; she has been extremely inclined towards singing since early years of her life. Hadiqa Kiyani gained her basic studies from Viqar-un-Nisa College in Rawalpindi. She also has represented Pakistan in different festivals since her childhood achieving numerous medals and awards in the way.
Hadiqa Kiyani was very studious too. She did her Masters in Psychology from Government College, Lahore but yet since her interest was in music she eventually got involved in this industry.
Hadiqa Kiyani has also represented UNDP as s Goodwill Ambassador. In 2006, she was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for her contribution to the field of music. In 2016, she was titiled as “Pakistan’s Most Powerful and Influentiol Women”.
