Screen awards 2017
The Screen Awards recognize the best of the best when it comes to the Bollywood film industry. The 2017 ceremony was held on Mumbai, India, on December 4th, 2016. It was the 23rdannual edition of these prestigious accolades.
The nomination and award selection is always done by a panel of distinguished professionals from the prolific Bollywood industry. In the case of the 23rd ceremony, the event was created and designed by Anil Jha and produced and executed by Mohomed Morani and Cineyug Group of Companies.
‘Pink’ was the most acclaimed film, winning up to four awards including Best Film and Best Actor for Amitabh Bachchan. Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress award for Udta Punjab. The hosts were Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, which was one of the main attractions of the ceremony.
One of the most acclaimed performances of a night that had several of them was the 62-year-old Rekha performing to Pardesia on stage. Also, Tiger Shroff danced to Bang Bang’s TuMeri, and Disha Patani performed to Befikre’s Nashe Si Chadh Gayi, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s Break Up Song.

Filmfare Awards 2017
The Times Group, for several years now, has been putting together an annual awards ceremony dedicated to honor and acclaim the best Hindi spoken movies to try and give space and relevance to local productions. It is one of the oldest film awards ceremonies in India, having completed its 62nd edition on January 14th, 2017.
The evening was co-hosted by Kapil Sharma, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. ‘Dangal’ topped productions like Kapoor& Sons, Neerja, Pink, Sultan and Udta Punjab to earn the recognition of being the Best Film at the 62ndFilmfare Awards. The movie also had the Best Actor (Aamir Khan) and Director (Nitesh Tiwari), completing a successful ceremony.

IIFA Awards 2017
Since 2000, the International Indian Film Academy recognizes top talent in Bollywood through the IIFA Awards. The 2017 edition, scheduled for July 14-15th, is going to take place in MetLife Stadium, New York, and will have Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan as hosts.
