Vaneeza Ahmed popularly known as Vinnie is one of the top models of Pakistan. According to Vinnie she dabbled into modeling just for fun but started taking it seriously after offers started pouring in. Her first shoot was for designer Nilofar Shahid with Khawar Riaz.
The success of the shoot announced the arrival of Vinnie in the fashion world where she was to be the uncrowned queen for years to come. She was born in June, 1971 in Murree.
She got her education from Kinnaird College for Women University. She is not only a model but also an actress and also sings occasionally. She started her modeling career in 1994.
Although not classically beautiful, she is full of pose and poise. She has elegance and a figure to die for. She can wear bold (read low cut dresses) without looking vulgar. Although she entered modeling more than 15 years ago, she still looks fresh on the ramp and the fashion photographers love to click their cameras when she poses for them.
Vinnie is a perfect combination of beauty and brains. She has made the right choices in her career and her smart professional moves have made her most sought after and successful model. She has made a place for herself in the field which is known for its fickle mindedness.
She also tried her luck in acting. She has acted in one film; Jinnah released in 1998. Her TV serials include Tum Se Mil Ker, Tere Siwa, Sirf Tumhare Liye, Zanjeer, Armaan, Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, Pyar Ho Jaane Do, and Ehd-e-Wafa etc.
Vinnie launched her own designer lawn prints VLawn in 2006 and has now expanded it. Vinnie has also acted in some plays; the role of Mr. Jinnah’s daughter Dina Wadia remains her favorite. She also has the honor of holding the Olympic Torch when it came to Pakistan in 2006. She has won Lux Style Award for Model of the Year – Female.
