Danny Glover started his movie career in 1979, playing the role of Inmate in “Escape from Alcatraz”. In 1984, he appeared in “Iceman” and “Places in the Heart”, which brought him into the limelight. In 1985, he appeared in his first major role in “Witness”, which brought him critical acclaim and a role in two back to back commercially successful movie titled “The Color Purple” in 1985 and “Lethal Weapon” in 1987.
In 1990, he appeared in an award-winning role of Harry in the movie titled “To Sleep with Anger” and played the leading role in “Predator 2”.
