She was born on 23rd June, 1972 in Michigan State and started her acting career in 1995.She is known for her roles in movies like “Cruel Intentions”, “Hell boy” and “Legally Blonde”.
Early Career
Selma Blair started her acting career in 1995, appearing in an episode of “The Adventures of Pete & Pete”. In 1996, she landed a role in her maiden big screen movie titled “The Broccoli Theory”, which paved her way to get her first ever leading role in “Amazon High”.
In 1999, she appeared in “Cruel Intentions” co-starring Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The movie was a critical as well as commercial hit and provided much needed boost to her career.
In 1997, she appeared in 6 movies including “Strong Island Boys”, “Gone Again”, “Arresting Gena”, “Two in the Morning”, “In & Out 2″ and the commercially hit “Scream 2”.
Another important breakthrough in her career came in the movie “Legally Blonde”, co-starring Reese Witherspoon. She also appeared on TV sitcoms including the episode of popular TV series “Xena: Warrior Princess”.
